I drive a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and a few weeks ago I turned into a gas station and something made a loud ping noise in the front end, since then when I go over bumps it makes a hollow thump sound and when I hit a lot of bumps at once my steering wheel shakes and I have to slow down for it to stop, any ideas as to whats happening/happened? 6 Answers

I bought this jeep Cherokee 4x4 Hemi, someone installed a lift kit on it. The problem is : It started getting a flashing low tire which I checked the tire pressure and they are fine, Yesterday I was driving around 35mph and the car sort of jumped while a bing sounded. so I pulled over and shut off the car. When I started it again It seemed fine until it happened again at about the same speed only the engine light came on. Its not over heating. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8. Was sitting at an intersection and the oil pressure just went to zero and my "check gages" light when on. I checked the oil the day before and oil level was fine. Anyways, in the parking lot i happened to have a quart of oil in my jeep that i dumped in. Feeling risky i started it up and the guage stayed good for a bit and then dropped back down. Feeling even more risky and desperate to get home i decided to drive it 2 miles to get back home. As i drove the gauge almost routinely would dip to zero and the "check gages" light would come on. Then it would go back up to normal for a few seconds and go back down to zero for a few seconds. It continued to do this the entire two miles. You guys have any ideas? Its got about 169,000 miles on it, and i just put a brand new oil pan on it. 5 Answers

If my coolant is leaking but isn't the head gasket what else could it be. Oh and it isn't leaking at the overflow tank, no obvious coolant on the ground
