What can possibly be wrong with my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Cherokee..made a stuck chain noise right before the air and
dash lights went off  and went back on 3 minutes later. the
engine light remains on and the air blows warm now.

It sounds like the a/c clutch clutch went out. Was there an odd smell when it happened?

I'd have the a/c checked, the clutch on the compressor may have went out.
