Battery light went on my car

Asked by Jul 08, 2017 at 07:16 PM about the 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery light went on my car while I was driving
and I noticed that the battery started losing power
since my radio stopped working. I ended up driving
home and then I shut off the car and tried to turn it
on again but it wouldn't turn on cause it looked like
the battery was dead . At the time, I had an
appointment to go to so I used a different car. By
the time I got back from the appointment, I went to
go check the car and turned it on and by surprise it
actually turned on which was weird cause it didn't
turn on before. I checked the dashboard and the
battery light wasn't on anymore so I let the car run
for like 15-20 mins to see if it would go on which it
didn't. Later on in the night, I drove the car and
went to the store to get a couple things and then as
i was driving back home the battery light came on
again. Today, the battery light was off again so I
drove my car to work. After I got outta work,
everything was still good so I just want to know if
this is some wiring issue or if its the alternator.
