4X4 not engaging

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my 2005 Blazer ZR2, the 4x4 will not engage. After removing battery and battery tray today while working on a starting problem I noticed there is a vacuum switch under the battery tray. I am assuming this is for the 4x4 actuator? Thanks

Ended up being a abraided vacuum line near the firewall...easy fix. All good now. Also changed the starter which only took 25 minutes including removing and installing front passenger wheel as access to starter is through wheel well.
