Has anyone put a 2015 2.4L Sorento engine into a 2011 Sorento body

I want to replace the engine in my 2011 Kia Sorento. I don't want to
spend BMW like money to do it ($3,500 to $5,000). I've noticed that the
2015-2019 2.4L 4 cyl engines go for about $1k and I'm wondering if it
would be impossible to get this done.
