It depends on which trany you have if you have a 46RE and overhauled it or completely emptied it ...it will take up to 10 QTs ...// if its a 45RFE and you did the same it will take up to 14 QTs ....// start both out with 6 QTs start the engine and let idle in neutral ...check the level if it does not show on the stick then add 2 more qts...// if it does show on the stick ...//then with the wheels off the ground put it in reverse and let it run for a while...// put it back in neutral and check it again...// and adjust the level from there
