Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Sebring LXI Conv. overheated today got off freeway when I looked at control panel the heating /hot icon was lit up and gauge was on H 4 hot. got to gas station . When I popped the hood I had 50/50 coolant in trunk got coolant reseviour cap off and
proceeded to add coolant to reseviore there was only a small amount of steam coming from the reseviore but was bubbling very hot. being stressed for my 1st day of work I took a chance to try to get to my job . didnt go well parked it got picked up went to work  when I got back to car in afternoon didnt see any fluid leak of extreme amount so
I added more coolant took a chance and drove it . was ok til I hit like 60mph on freeway
was lucky to make it home . The steam was only where the coolant is added and a little behind it not around engine or radiator. What do you guys think?
