Anti lock symbol appeared on dashboard stayed
on for about two hours. After I ft Ave somebody a
jump start one day. The car later start acting like it
didn' t want to crank. It would tick, tick like it was

changed the starter battery good and altanater is
good. The symbol now doesn' t appear on
dashboard when you turn key on but it won't crank.
Gives the ticking sound unless I get a jump.

Your alternator may be good but is it charging on the car? May be a fuse or in the wiring like a bad connection. I here the plugin at the alternator needs to be kept an eye on...

The alternator is charging as well. I'm really thinking it has something to do with that anti lock.

No, ABS has nothing to do with the starter turning over an engine. There is a starter relay that could be bad then, if all your connections are good, clean & tight. Double check them at the battery, you should not be able to move them by hand.

yes, if all connections are good, it may be a relay problem. Check your Relay fuses under your hood as well to make sure neither is burned out
