Check the battery terminal cable connections. Corrosion can cause this issue. Disconnect the negative one first, then positive cable. Clean with a wire brush and reconnect the cables and try again (positive first then negative cable).

how can you check for spark if it doesn't crank over ? if the fuel pump works there should be pressure at the fuel rail unless the filter is totally clogged

You will need a volt meter. Should be 12 - 12.5 volts at rest. If the voltage drops below about 10.5 volts while you are trying to start the engine, then you probably have a bad battery. Is it a single click or fast clicking? It could also be a bad starter, stuck on a bad spot.

To the beatupchevy dumdass know it all. When the problem first happened it did turn over and there was know spark. Then it stop getting power to the starter. So there for I'm going with there still no spark.and as for the fuel issue I drop the tank and powered the fuel pump with a jumper wire. Now that I've waisted time just for you. If your not here to help . Then go back to your pile of Chevy and rust together!

The battery seems to check out good ,I've even swap it with a known good batt. The relay is a single click. , I'm back home now . So if you have any more ideas I'll check back in morning , then let you know how it went Thanks so far for your time

No i have no f#cking idea. Thats why I found what I thought was a place of knowledge , it could be a p.o.s. Chrysler but it's the only vechicle this lady has and I'm not charging her. But obviously some people here like to play games . So I look back at my post ,the shift position indicater . Only thing that sticks out. So? a sencer on the transmission? If not then do those merge at the bcm?
