Battery cables removed for 30min and touch the two cables together.

Replaced the tranny in my 2004 2W/D Trailblazer. I think I need to reset the computer. How do I do that. If I need to replace it where is it located.
I just replaced the transmission in my 2008 chevy trailblazer. However it seems the vehicle's computer is not recognizing the transmission I put in.
