I have a 3.0 wanting to swap it to a 4.0 in a 2005 ranger 5 speed what will I need to do.

Transmission from 3.0 won't bolt to 4.0. passenger side motor mount is different, heater hoses, ECM, wiring harnesses. It can be done but you need more from the donor vehicle than just the engine
