VTM-4,VSA,YELLOW TRIANGLE and the ENGINE light's
I have a 2006 Honda Pilot with 128,000 miles. Been a great suv until now.
The VTM-4,VSA, A yellow Triangle and the engine light all come on at the
same time. The engine will start missing and the cruise quits working. Have
to keep pulling of the road to shut off and restart. Then, only the engine light
comes on, until the next time. Then the cruise will work again. Had it had the
Honda dealer 3 times. the same code keeps coming up. They replaced a oil
pressure sensor. Still came back on. Took it back again, same code. They
think for sure its another oil pressure sensor and a switch. On back order.
They said they can not get and do not know when they will have it.,if at all.
After this, we will not own another one. The Honda dealer said they do not
want it on trade. That tells me something right there. Was going to keep it
and and buy a new one,but will look at other brands. Just spent 7,000 on
maint. and tires. Still looks new. Only the Honda dealer has worked on it.
Honda's are not what they use to be. Hope some one can try to help me at
this point. Thanks
Did you find an answer to your question? I have the same issue with a 250,000 mile 2006 pilot. Based on my research so far it could be a temp sensor in the differential or ABS sensor.
