It would work if the style of the alternator is the same, and the clocking of the electrical plugin is the same. Coming off another Mustang, same engine, the clocking position I would say is the same. It can be changed if need be.

So it would be a good idea...Because my car wouldnt start battery wont hold a charge and kept making a clicking noise was told it was the battery & also the alternator but if I just switch the alternator from the 05 and put it on my 03 & buy a new battery it should be driving perfect correct or no???

I don't know how you drive, lol, to drive perfect but theoretically yes. The battery could be bad now, just have to have it charged up and checked.
