I tried replacing my map light on my 2012 honda civic with blue leds that i bought. After replacing them and seeing it didnt work both my map and dome light stopped working. what could be the issue?

I tried changing my map light. the first bulb worked no problem but the second one didn't so I checked to see if the first bulb still worked, it didn't. now my map light and dome light isn't working. I placed back my old bulb which was still working but still nothing happened. I did not even touch my dome light and it's not working. I don't know why this is happening and I'm pretty sure that the fuse isn't the issue. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Check the fuses and dont use LED any more...

i have a 04 honda civic i drive everyday went to work this morning no problem.. when i tried leaving work car starts up every time but after 2 seconds if that it dies out... also tried holding down pedal and rpm goes up but still dies out and can hear like putty noise from exhaust fuel pump sounds like its working and i can see from engine it shoots out.... what can this be? 1 Answer

About 3 weeks ago I went to start up my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan lx and lights came on and everything but wouldn't start. On the third time trying to start it none of the lights came on, so I changed the battery. I tried starting it with the new battery, all lights came on perfectly, but it wouldn't turn over. I changed the starter and the car ran fine with no problems for maybe 2 weeks. This morning I was driving down the road when the check engine light came on and the engine suddenly started to rev up uncontrollably. I was able to brake but it was very hard to do because the engine kept revving. Without my foot on the brake the car was going 30 something mph, when I braked and got below 15 I felt a hard downshift. Has anyone had these simliar problems or know what might have cause this kind of behavior? 3 Answers
