Sounds like something wrong with the switch in the horn button- is your car still under warranty?

No its not under warranty. It was involved in front end collision before we got it. The airbag may have been deployed, not sure. Is it a big deal to get into the horn sw area on sterring wheel to check the sw?

Yes, getting in to the switch on the steering wheel is usually difficult- but some cars are easier than others- see how hard it is to just pop the cover off the wheel, the cover you push to honk the horn- before going through that- it is best to check the entire horn circuit with a test light to make SURE that's what it is- wrecked just complicates matters
