Check for coolant flow. Failed water pump likely. Look for coolant leaking from water pump weep hole, unusual grinding or squeal from pump. if you replace pump, do the timing chain at same time. This will save time and $. Confirm belts are tight, not worn or loose, hoses not cracked, swelling, blocked or leaking. Rad cap seal good, coolant level normal. Finally, turn on a/c to check rad fan, if not working, replace. For maintenance, flush radiator every few years to remove sediment.
