Airflow settings 1,2and 3 quit working

Asked by Leslie Jan 28, 2019 at 04:48 AM about the 2007 Ford Explorer XLT V8 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have A 2007 Ford explore XLT-V8-
4WD.
First question is, at the end of
summer I noticed the floorboard on
the drivers and passenger side we’re
both soaking wet. Once I stopped
using that AC it dried up. Haven’t had
any problems with the floorboard
being wet since.

Second question now that it’s winter
of course using the heat my airflow
settings one by one has stopped
working one then two then three.
Setting number four is still working
for now what is going on anybody
now?

If you get a wet floor when the AC is used the carpet should feel cold. The condenser works just like inside your house. The water on the coil drops into a pan and either only drains outside or into a drain pipe. However the drain system is set up, it is either plugged or the housing plugged.
