2004 Chrysler Sebring 2.7L thermostat, coolant issues

Recently had my 2004 Chrysler Sebring 2.7L Sedan have new heads, gaskets put on... Got the car back and it wasn't heating or starting. We then replaced the battery which seems to do fine, also replaced the thermostat, and filled the resevoir and ran the car for more than a half hour and it wouldn't take any antifreeze, we did not completely drain the radiator when we changed the thermostat, mainly just what came out from taking the thermostat off and we opened the bottom plug a little, so I don't expect a full two gallons, however it only took one large funnel full and its still plump full, and still not putting any heat out. Any suggestions on how to get it to suck in some antifreeze and get some heat out of it.

Hey, on your car there may be a high point bleed. check around the top of the engine for a tille screw on the thermostat housing or another high point on the cooling system. also you can park the car on an upwards slope and run it until its at operating temp, or u can rip it around the block and try to force some coolant thru it. this usually works.
