What makes you think you have lost oil pressure? Is the motor knocking, or ticking? Or is it because of the oil light on the dash, and the engine shutting down. If there is no noise coming from the engine, in 2007 GM started putting this screen under the oil pressure sending unit that gets plugged up, giving a false reading to the oil pressure sending unit. What would need to be done is to take out the oil pressure sending unit and fish that screen out. Either replace it or clean it. Replacement is preferable along with the oil pressure sending unit. This would take care of your problem.
