Nissan altima 2008 lost power on the freeway and now has no power it take a wahile yo accelerate

I have my nissan altima 08 i was on a 6 hours road
trip I ran 4 hours and half and it just went from
70mph to 50 . I kept running but the revolution was
too high when i was going 60 mph so i stopped at
the nearest gas station after about 40 mins it
didint have any power . Can someone help me on
the any ideas what it might be ? I replaced the
catalityc converter and it still doing the same

Hmm, did you say you were "going 60, but, revolutions were too high"?? That's beginning to sound like transmission issues? If you are lucky it's only a computer or speed sensor??? Why did you replace the cat?? I would suggest that you take it to a professional mechanic...

I was going 70mph and then it lost power and went from 70 to 50 . I took it to auto zone to check what was wrong with it and they said it was the cat but it still doing the same . One of the error codes said Vehicle speed sensor cvt

There is a recall on the transmission that is good for upto 120k miles. It needs a new transmission, mine did the same thing. Dealer replaced free of charge. Have them check your vin #
