My 2010 vw jetta Sportwagen radio died how do I trouble shoot the problem?

Remove the radio to check the small fuse next to the wire connection. Replace the fuse, and if the radio blows the fuse again, it- the radio- may need to be replaced. Some are available through VW as exchange parts.

A lot of 2010 radios go bad. Check out eurozonetuning.com for a replacement stereo. Those guys are experts. Lots of good information on there, too
