what about blowouts and no spare?
Asked by migration_edm Jan 25, 2012 at 06:49 PM about the 2012 Volvo S60 T6 AWD
Question type: General
what happens if you have a blowout and no spare at 1:00 AM Sunday morning? if you call their emergency service what can they do but tow you to the nearest volvo dealer who would be closed. i drive alot on weekends and evenings so i'd be in trouble. i'd rather have a donut spare than the stupid inflation kit.
i need the space in that small trunk already so putting a tire in there would not be practical. Do you have any ideas, comments, or experiences you can share please.

my husband has just spent three hours on the New Jersey turnpike because he had a blowout and no spare on his Volve - DON"T BUY A CAR WITH NO SPARE - and - if you want to purchase one - they cost a fortune and needs to sit in your trunk. This is really an outrage. I've owned nothing but Volvos for over 30 years but I'm DONE - my husband wanted to take my XC60 and give me the new sedan and as soon as I heard it had no spare I told him to keep it. As it stands - China now owns Volvo so I won't be purchasing another one - and I will NEVER purchase a care with no spare. It's just foolish and a way for the companies to save money.
try buying 4 run flats.....that is not the answer....I have a '17 V60....just a can of jizz+a penis pump.....absolut shit......offer a spare that will fit in /under cargo area.....I am sure most people would rather have a donut or fullsize spare.....especially in no- mans-land at midnite.....not scared just practical/sensible!!!!
2016 V60 has had 12 flats in the 3 years I have owned it. WTF?
