How can I stop my 2004 Chrysler 300M from draining the battery dead during month long storage?

Asked by ChristaM May 26, 2016 at 04:48 PM about the 2004 Chrysler 300M Special FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Don't drive this car much and decided to give it to my daughter. She also has
a bike and will likely only use the car 6 months of the year. What can be done
to stop the battery from being stone dead when she switches back to it?

When not driving (storing a vehicle) for 6 months I suggest you connect to a "trickle" charge device very low amp rated charger This will keep the battery at least 12.6 volts and NOT cook it by over charging!
