Dash date and time display

Asked by Kevin Jan 12, 2017 at 12:10 PM about the 2012 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I wonder if you guys can help, for the last couple of days I have not noticed
the date and clock display being active whilst driving, just a dark screen. I
am pretty sure this
was always on whilst the ignition was on and I miss it. When the audio
system is active it is on. If I open the drivers
door to get out it comes on, and then I start the car and it goes off. It is
driving me to distraction. Is it something to do with the courtesy lighting?
any help greatly appreciated.
