2012 Focus Transmission hard shifting

Asked by GuruR3NDH Feb 17, 2020 at 11:05 PM about the 2012 Ford Focus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 Focus tranny was slipping not bad but noticeable.  Yesterday it would
rev to 4000 rpm then slam into gear.  Let it sit over night then brought it to my
local Ford dealer.  When driving to Ford the car ran better then it ever has.  No
hard shifting or slipping.  Drove it home and it is like the transmission problem
never existed.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
