What would cause a blower of some sort to still be running hours after turning off my van?

Asked by CaravanDad35 Sep 08, 2018 at 11:57 PM about the 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Mainstreet FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a sound coming from what sounds
like towards the back or middle of
underneath my van.  It sounds like a motor
or compressor running hours after the van
has been parked, and engine turned off.

Could be the evap system, next time you turn it off loosen the gas cap if the noise goes away it's the evap and it may be working normally
