2011 chevy Z71 4x4 with fiberglass cap makes a cracking sound in cab, mostly 50-65mph. Comes and goes. Any ideas how to track down and fix?

Yea it does, I don't think your going to be able to do anything about it, longs there is insulation, rubber, cushion, between the cap and the bed rails. Its fiberglass, and it moves, makes noise.

Shells make creaking noises. Try to adjust it back from the cab a little bit and make sure the bolts that hold the shell down are tight.
