2011 Chevy silverado transmission problem

Asked by Guru7FCZ2 Jun 20, 2020 at 01:58 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my 2011 chevy silverado 4wd doesn't want to
engage when put into gear after starting  up.  It
acts like its neutral when you hit the gas and then
a boom noise happens and it engages and works
fine after that.   Chevy said nothing is wrong with
it 2 other transmission shops said nothing is
wrong, but obviously something is wrong.
