Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So today I stopped at a stop shut the car off went in
ansn came back out the car wouldn’t turn over? All
the lights came on but it wouldn’t turn over and I
noticed where it says park there were 2 little lines
instead. Cables were fine and everything keep
trying it finally started. Then I went to go move the
shifter to D and it wouldn’t even move past park? I
looked on the display and where it says P it was 2
little lines and then it was say P then go back to
these little lines again? I shut the car off it wouldn’t
start again tried and tried finally started and then it
moved to D thank goodness. Then I stopped and
got gas and it did the same thing again wouldn’t go
out of P and had the 2 little lines again? Can anyone
help on this?  It’s a 2011 Dodge Journey crew with
148,000 miles

Check to see if your anti theft light is flashing. My 2010 is doing the same damn thing and it is the anti theft system.
