vehicle is a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. How do I move the factory crossbars on the roof rack? There are "tabs" that lift up from the ends of the crossbars, but they don't seem to disengage anything.
"vehicle is a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. How do I move the factory crossbars on the roof rack? There are "tabs" that lift up from the ends of the crossbars, but they don't seem to disengage anything that will allow the bars to slide. What am I doing wrong? Thanks"
Check your manual. Call a Hyundai dealer & if all else fails, Ask Google.
before trying to flip the clips .... climb look on the top of the fliping clips.... you will see 2 little holes witch will indicate "lock ... unlock" and prosid by turning it accordly...
After much trial and error, I discovered that you just need to lift the tabs, but both sides have to be lifted at the same time, so it requires two people. Once both tabs are lifted, the crossbar can be slid to the desired position.
