I entered my Vin and your site says the vin is already on your site. I never had
an account. What's going on?

Did you buy the car new? If not maybe a previous owner entered the VIN.
There you go. Someone else checked out the car before you did.

If a previous owner used the VIN to sell the car on CarGurus... you cannot post it for sale with your account. Instead of CarGurus controlling their technology & wiping the old advert, on the other account... they push it back on you to call the previous owner & have them remove the VIN under their login credentials. It gets better... they dont tell you who the previous owner is, or contact information. Are you laughing yet? In other words... if somebody else tried to sell the car here... you cant. It's the dingdong mgmt model of websites.... call support yourself & find out - it's 100% true.
