should i give my address to buyer

I wrote my phone number and address to the buyer but haven't heard back.
was this a mistake?

NO! If the person wants the vehicle you are selling. Tell that person that you will meet them somewhere! Then have somebody follow you there so that way you will have a ride back to your destination!

And Yes that was a mistake always ask a series of question that verify that they are not a scam!

I'd keep the truck in a garage or safe area. Never give your address to a buyer, ever. Even if they come waving cash. Meet publicly.
