Coil packs

Asked by GuruZC1XP Oct 29, 2017 at 11:16 PM about the 2011 Ford F-150 Platinum SuperCrew 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my plugs on my 2011 f150 platinum 6.2
v8 and didn’t lay my cool packs out to tell which
plug to put them back on. Does it matter which coil
pack goes on which plug?

Makes no difference, but as Tom said the coil wiring does have to be on the correct coil. I doubt that the small wires will be long enough to get them messed up though.
