My 2011 infinity g37 coupe convertible top is sticking

My convertible top won’t close back or when I open
it starts but then stops before finishes and it’s
beeping

Happened to me too! The car SCREAMS when you try to drive it if the top is not all the way closed. I limped it to the dealership. They closed the top (for $140) and told me that the latching mechanism was going bad. $3600 to fix!!
