Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It is my wifes car and she said it wouldn't start and tried using jumper cables to start the car, but I believe hooked up positive cable to negative terminal and negative cable to positive terminal...….....She called me when it wasn't starting to discover the cable were installed incorrectly and then the stereo speakers are not working and the phone is not connecting to the car!

Well, what happened when the cables were properly reversed? If car starts and runs just replace blown fuses. If car won't start look for blown master fusible link in the underhood fuse compartment. Ern TSG/B

Thanks. Once jumper cables corrected, the car started up just fine! I tried doing internet / CarGurus search before I checked the interior fuse box and it was actually (2) 15 amp Bose fuses blown, which got the radio speakers working, but waiting for my wife to get back in town to test the Bluetooth phone area. Thank you so much. Craig
