Brake light stays on?

Asked by BigGabe21 Feb 20, 2019 at 02:34 PM about the 2011 Kia Optima LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The passenger side brake light stays on anytime I have my lights switched on.
When my lights are switched off it only illuminates when I hit my brakes as it
should. Any idea what may cause this and how to get it fixed? I'm sure it is
something simple.

I found the solution. I tried this a few times before, but it worked this time. I simply took the bulb out, rotated it, then put it back in the socket.
