What does Bluetooth do?

I see Bluetooth on some cars and am wondering what this does?  I just want to be able to hook up my cell phone so I can answer it on the steering wheel or whatever.  If I have a hands free communication system would that work?

Bluetooth is a radio frequency method of communication between devices. Get and read the owner's manual for your Lexus and it will help you connect your phone the the car's Bluetooth system. Owner's manuals are available in your glove box or www.helminc.com
