My 2011 nissan altima coupe push button start does not recognize my fob.

They used car dealership (towed) took back this car without getting the fobs because of delayed paperwork funding issues.They returned the car 7 days later...Now the car does not recognize the fobs I have. The car does not respond to any buttons pressed on the fob. I even put the fob into the fob slot to start the car but it still says no key...what did they do. How did they drive it back?

W your key fob insert into slot turn push power button on let sit for exactly 10 mins till the little pad lock goes out or flashes. Power button off repeat 2 more times w a 30 second pause in between for a total of 30 mins less pause on the third cycle car should start as usual.

I inquired about buying new fobs online...hoping that they come with self help programming instructions. They said only way was to have it computer synced with the car. Dealerships and Auto locksmiths have this software available to do it. dealership wanted $150...but i have to tow it there...auto locksmith wanted $100 for house call.

They probably programmed a new fob after they took the car. You will have to get yours reprogrammed to the vehicle.
