Can you put led lights in place of standard tail light bulbs?

we could search for a source for an insert or perhaps one of the product lines of the zilliions of choices if you type "LED car lights" at the search- Tenspeed should answer this one....brand new to me too-

The load resister goes from the hot wire to ground on each of the turn signal bulbs. You can get a pair of them on eBay for under $5. You can get the bulbs on eBay too if you look around. -- I have found bulbs sold on sites, got the description and found them on auctions. They even use the same pictures.

yeah but some older model cars don't work real well with them, my camaro didn't work at all with it.

I have never had any car refuse to work with LED's. Sometimes I have had to install a resistor (any flashing or blinking lights), but every application has worked fine. Also....the newer LED's are in many cases, much brighter than stock bulbs!

I’ve installed in my 09 Nissan Rogue on the rear , tail lights and turn signal lights , the turn and running lights work great and the high mount brake light but the the brake lights do not work at all , I can flip the bulb and get brake lights but I loose another lighting function with flip.
