How do you make heater blow hot air

Make sure coolant is full without air trapped. Blower working? Just cold air? Is car overheating? If these are good try flushing out heater core with clear hoses connected on inlet and outlet on firewall. Many YouTube videos how to do this. It may be clogged. Also look at your blend door actuator that it is letting hot coolant into your heater core.
