The new rotors for my 2005 ford ranger are too wide (1/16")....do i
need to change calipers or turn new rotors?
1/16th of an inch tells also that the calipers are not fully collapsed also, if the calipers pistons won't move anymore then it is a good chance that there is too much crud behind the pistons and the calipers will then need replacement. Is the brake fluid black in the master cylinders tank? if so the brake system needs to be flushed before even proceeding any further as that fluid would contaminate the replacement calipers.
