I just bought a 2011 Honda Civic. Sweet looking car. I had an older model 2003 which took at least 10 minutes to heat up on a cold day, but the new one takes 7-10 minutes as well. Is this normal?

newly purchased from dealer 2 weeks ago. 2011 Honda Civic takes 7-10 minutes for the
heat to come out of the vents feeling warm-hot.  The first 5-7 minutes it feels cold! Is this
normal for a newer car?

How cold is it outside. We have a '06 dx and that little motor has a hard time making heat when it's cold out.
