Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2011 VW Jetta S.E and as i was
pumping gas (usually Non enthanol) or the highest
grade gas, its expensive but i heard its better and i
was usuing it on my car before i bought the Vw so i
just continued it, but as i was pumping yeterday i
noticed on the car it says unleaded only .. was just
wondering of using non ethanol or super unleaded
will harm my car?

No your not hurting a thing, if anything your actually helping it. This is not true with all cars but some actually run better and get better mileage on high test fuel even though the manufacture recommends regular. If your up to doing some experimentation, try running 3 or tanks of regular fuel and measure the mileage carefully, then do the same with premium fuel, if there is a noticeable difference in the mileage and performance between the two then stick with the premium, if not then you can go with regular and save some money for maintenance costs. I did this experiment on both of my vehicles and one got much better mileage and performance on premium, the other rig it didn't make any difference so it gets regular and the other car gets premium.
