Key won't start 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SE

Guys! My car literally won't start and I have
no idea why!! I just unlocked it, sat down
and the key is luke jammed from turning
the car on! After I try putting it into gear
then turn the key it start beeeping a lot!!
Why??!

Try turning your steering wheel while turning over the key. I found that sometimes my steering lock makes my key not want to turn so i just shake the steering wheel a little and it works. If im reading your question right

if you wiggle your key and it unlocks that means you need a new igniton unit. its very comman in VW cars.

I have a 2003 Volkswagen Passat I put a used motor and trans in it and now it's not going into gear what can be the problem
