Kia consumption

Question type: General

My Kia Sportage show 6.0 litres per 100 km
average consumption but after calculation I
did 7.1 /100
Reset counters after full tank and calculated
49.93 litres for 703km.
Why was it not showing 7.1 then ?

I heard the car computer measure that consumption on the fuel injection... why is there such a difference (15%) ? is that just commercial ? Anyone ?
