4 wheel drive
Have a 2011 suburban Ltd. When I put truck into 4
high or 4 low, the vehicle will almost come to a
stop when making a turn either direction. Vehicl
drives fine in awd or 2 wheel. Feels like front drive
is binding up making a turn.
Tranny man is right, if you are on any hard packed surface where the tires cannot slip a bit you will get this tire binding or bucking, and if you have larger than normal tires and wheels it just amplifies the binding or bucking. If you feel you must run 4 wheel drive use the auto setting. I only use my 4X4 setting in heavy snow, otherwise on winter roads with questionable road surface I use auto setting, when roads are clear then back to just 2WD.
