Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery and Break light come on and off some days (not All). Been going on for 2 months. We did replaced 2 battery's and 2 alternators about 3-4 months ago after the car completely died.  Brought in to 2 different shops and neither can not find an issue besides telling me it could be the alternator and they could replace (they did indicate the alternator checked out okay and no problems with the charging system).

Got the same issue. Replaced battery, still not charging. When running, no 14 volts. Replaced alt w/ rebuilt. Now 14 volts. Lasted 4 days. same issue--no 14 volts. Replaced alt again...once again immediately 14 volts. Alas, 2 days later...same thing. Beginning to think its the cheap rebuilt alternators from Advance--something is suspicious about an alt that says rebuilt in China that has no core charge more than $1.

I am currently having the same issue. I have replaced a battery and 2 alternator a in the last 3-6 months. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Any chance someone find a solution to this? Currently dealing with it on a 2011 Sedona EX.

Use an alternator made by KIA. The computer won't work with aftermarket units. Some more bullshit from South Korea.
