Ed is inaccurate once again, the battery light can come on bc rpm drops below a certain limit and the alternator is no longer charging.. the car doesnt switch to alternator power when it starts lmao who is teaching this person? A faulty crankshaft sensor can cause the car the stall but it typically wont start for a period of time afterwards... a failing fuel pump will do the same
