purchasing a 2011 Honda Genesis for 17.5

Asked by newmanator Mar 17, 2014 at 04:39 PM about the 2011 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

should I be concerned that the CARFAX
only has two entries both from 2014 when
the car is a 2011? the dealer says that's the
title is clean, but I'm concerned about the
integrity of this dealership

1 Answer

When someone buys a new car in Texas, they get a two year registration. From then on they go one year at a time. It is good that it is only showing two entries for now, once you buy it the miles will be reported again. Unless it has a accident is reported or other drastic problems, registration is the only time it will be reported. Salesman
