Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 2000 deville base, it overheats with no heat. Just replaced ground wire.
Do I have to reset computer? Or is it something else.

This is something else, make sure your system is filled, check the overflow tank make sure its has the correct amount of fluid, check the tsnk for cranks, make sure the tube going to the tank is no blocked, check your radiator cap, it might be your thermostat snd or your pump.

This really sounds like you have major air pocket in the cooling system, and this car is one of the worst to get them out. You may have to raise the passenger side up at least 6 inches to allow the air to escape up and through the recovery tank. Or have the system power flushed and filled in worse case.
